THE BASICS

Welcome to the Southwest Michigan Record Show! This brand-new event is brought to you by the same organizers of the South Bend Record Show, one of the largest vinyl record fairs in the Midwest.

Our inaugural show is scheduled for Sunday, May 14, 2023, in Grand Upton Hall of Lake Michigan College’s Mendel Center, 1100 Yore Ave., Benton Harbor, Mich. Record vendors from throughout the Midwest will fill 65 tables with new and used LPs, 45s, CDs, cassettes, vintage stereo gear, posters, and more. Crate diggers will find multiple genres represented, but the show centers on classic rock, pop, metal, punk, prog rock, and ’80s. Select vendors will also carry blues, jazz, R&B, soul, country, and more.

For this inaugural season, the Southwest Michigan Record Show will hold two shows in 2023. The first will be Sunday, May 14. The second will be Saturday, Sept. 16. The official show hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Do you want to come early and shop as dealers set up? Early admission begins at 9 a.m. and is $5 per person. General admission is free and starts at 11 a.m.
