FOR THE RECORD
For The Record is the hobby business for selling records and tapes by Southwest Michigan and South Bend Record Show owner Jeremy D. Bonfiglio. While he carries a diverse mix of music, including jazz, country, soundtracks, punk, and more, Jeremy specializes in classic rock from the 1970s and pop and new wave from the 1980s. He is the go-to source for all things Elvis Costello, his favorite artist, and a host of ’80s chart-toppers, one-hit wonders, obscure power pop, synth pop, and new wave bands.
Jeremy chose the For The Record moniker to pay homage to the print journalism industry. He spent 26 years as a newspaper writer and editor, mostly covering music and the arts.
He has interviewed a wide range of high-profile musicians throughout his career, including Kid Rock, Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, George Thorogood, Gordon Lightfoot, Graham Nash, Jonny Lang, Don Felder, Garry Tallent, Vince Neil, Vince Gill, James JY Young, Jim Peterik, Buddy Guy, and many more. In addition to the Southwest Michigan and South Bend Record Shows, you also can find Jeremy set up at nearly 40 shows a year throughout the Midwest, primarily in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio.
